Sr. Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

Support the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) product, including developing application integrations, supporting all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), facilitating customer onboarding, migrating integration functionality from MuleSoft to ACE, and assisting with product enhancements and production support.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Architects, Developers/Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving environment.

Operate as a self‑starter with strong collaboration and communication skills, building relationships and driving technical solutions from inception to completion.

Maintain technical expertise and provide consistently high customer service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience designing and developing complex service bus integrations and APIs requiring cross‑functional collaboration on MuleSoft Anypoint and IBM IIB/ACE platforms.

Familiarity with IBM MQ and similar messaging technologies.

Minimum 2 years of experience with leading application server platforms and hands‑on experience using relational DBMS, including Oracle and/or Amazon RDS.

Minimum 2 years of experience providing production support with demonstrated customer service prowess.

Prior experience analyzing business requirements, building use cases, and translating them to clear technical specifications.

Demonstrated ability to design and develop systems for heterogeneous security technologies.

Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong interpersonal skills, including influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.

Proven desire to continuously learn new technologies.

Clear understanding of and experience with team development best practices, including peer review processes and version control systems.

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Judgment to appropriately escalate risk‑based decisions.

Experience working in AWS environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint 4.0 and higher.

Experience with RAML, MQ 8/9, and higher.

Experience with Web services and API service gateway implementations.

Experience with Java, .NET, Rest/SOAP, ESQL.

Experience with ODBC/JDBC.

Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) including micro/mini‑service architectures.

Experience automating deployments and provisioning across all environment levels.

Experience in cloud computing environments.

Experience with ESB performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Unix scripting skills and competency in functional/non‑functional testing and code analysis tools.

Experience with collaboration tools such as Subversion, JIRA, ALM, Confluence, and MS Teams.

Demonstrated technical expertise across a variety of platforms and solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
