Join us at Oracle as a Senior Service Solution Architect in our CSS Global Cloud Solutions team.
Mission This role will play a crucial part in driving service innovation, optimizing processes, and delivering insights that let the organization make informed, data‑driven decisions. Passionate about cloud enterprise architecture, the architect collaborates, applies technical skills to real‑world applications, and contributes to portfolio management and business development of Oracle Customer Success Services offerings that feature the latest Oracle technologies.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement data layer architectures, Oracle applications, and AI systems to solve specific business problems and improve workflows.
Architect scalable, secure, and automated solutions for multi‑cloud and hybrid‑cloud environments, ensuring interoperability among Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Build repeatable offerings for global customers, prototype and package services from Oracle and partners for delivery‑ready implementations.
Lead end‑to‑end deployment of modern applications and workloads using CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
Ensure robust multi‑cloud security, implementing IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance mapping for each hyperscaler.
Design and implement cost‑effective architecture, monitor and optimize cloud spend.
Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to support data pipelines and integrate managed data services.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams to define project goals and deliver AI solutions that meet organizational needs; liaise with hyperscaler support.
Document model design, methodologies, and results; report findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders; present to executive and C‑level audiences.
Maintain architecture blueprints, sales guides, and presales best practices for multi‑cloud operations.
Deploy services in prototypes, pilots, and production environments; continuously monitor with native monitoring and logging tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field required; Ph.D. preferred.
Multiple cloud certifications (Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCP) and TOGAF/Zachman preferred.
15+ years in IT services with significant customer‑facing experience and service management.
Proficient with OCI, GCP, Azure, AWS and on‑premise environments.
Hands‑on experience architecting, deploying, and managing workloads and data migrations on at least two hyperscalers.
Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, deep learning, and deploying AI models in production.
Experience with commercial constructs, contract management, TCO analyses, pricing for complex service offers.
Large‑scale IT project and program management, including major transformation, migration, and solution deployment projects.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience
16+ years in IT services with deep cloud expertise.
Proficiency in cloud platforms and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Knowledge of monitoring, networking, security, and resilience in multi‑cloud environments.
Experience with structured data, data processing, and analytics across big data stacks.
Skills
Infrastructure‑as‑code (CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Deployment Manager, Terraform).
Monitoring/logging (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana).
Networking (subnets, gateway, load balancers, VPN, VPC, VCN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, FastConnect).
Hybrid security (Vaults, KMS, IAM across cloud providers).
Cloud cost management, performance optimization, business continuity.
