Job Summary The Culinary Director leads all culinary operations across the account, ensuring innovative, efficient, and safe food production. This role sets the culinary vision and standards for retail dining, board meals, and catering while driving menu innovation, cost control, and team development. The Culinary Director partners closely with operations and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality, on-trend dining experience at scale. Key Responsibilities
- Set and maintain high culinary standards across retail dining, board meals, and catering operations
- Lead menu development with a focus on innovation, seasonality, health, and wellness
- Develop, coach, and inspire culinary leadership and on-site teams
- Oversee food cost control, inventory management, purchasing, and production efficiency
- Champion food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance standards
- Analyze operational performance, identify trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Support corporate social responsibility initiatives and sustainable sourcing practices
- Maintain expert knowledge of menus and concepts and communicate offerings clearly to stakeholders and guests
- Culinary degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive culinary leadership or kitchen management experience
- Experience planning and executing catering programs from a culinary leadership perspective
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and develop teams
- Deep knowledge of food trends, production methods, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and internet-based systems
- Strong communication skills across leadership, operations, and client groups
- ServSafe Certification required
