Overview A U.S.-based holding company within the Environmental Services industry is seeking a hands-on, technically strong Finance Director to lead U.S. finance operations and serve as the bridge between domestic entities and an international parent organization. This role will own accounting, compliance, tax, and reporting across the U.S. business while helping elevate finance processes and standards in a growing, PE-backed environment. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong technical depth, comfort operating autonomously, and experience navigating both IFRS and U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities Lead all U.S. accounting, tax, and compliance activities across three legal entities Ensure adherence to local regulatory and tax requirements and help define U.S. tax strategy Act as the primary liaison between U.S. operations and international finance teams under IFRS Own monthly close, reporting, consolidation, and audit coordination Partner with U.S. leadership to provide financial insight and support operational decision-making Drive structure, standardization, and process improvement across the U.S. finance function

Qualifications CPA required with strong technical accounting and tax expertise Experience working with both IFRS and U.S. GAAP in a cross-border or international environment Lead FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting to support strategic decision-making and performance management. Background in private equity-backed, fast-growing, or multi-entity organizations preferred Self-starter with the ability to build processes and operate independently Service-based industry experience helpful but not required
