Company Lowery Property Advisors (LPA) is a privately held commercial real estate valuation firm headquartered in Irving, Texas, with offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Georgia. We specialize in valuation, appraisal, market research, feasibility, property tax consulting, right-of-way and eminent domain appraisals, litigation support, and expert witness testimony. Our clients range from local to international lenders, investors, government agencies (including TxDOT), tax and law firms, and owner-users. LPA handles diverse property types, including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, healthcare, special-use, mixed-use, development land, and going concern valuations.

Position LPA is seeking an experienced and driven Director for our Austin office. This leadership position requires a highly motivated appraisal professional who is capable of managing a team of valuation staff while also maintaining their own pipeline of appraisal and consulting assignments.

This position is on-site at our Austin location and is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, in-person work environment.

Key Responsibilities Oversee and mentor associates, providing guidance, training, and performance management Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of valuation reports Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service Support business development efforts and contribute to expanding the firms regional presence Coordinate workflow and project assignments to maximize team efficiency Foster a collaborative and professional team culture aligned with LPAs core values

Requirements Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field Texas Certified General Appraiser License required 2+ years of commercial real estate appraisal experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities Experience managing direct reports and balancing leadership with personal production Strong knowledge of the local real estate market, especially Austin and surrounding areas Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows OS Familiarity with CoStar and other commercial real estate data platforms Experience with Argus or other DCF modeling software preferred High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism Ability to pass a criminal background check
