Company & Role Overview Springwood Executive has been instructed on a Chief Financial Officer mandate for a West Coast based FinTech/SaaS platform serving SMB customers across services led industries.
The platform combines workflow, payments, billing, and client management into a mission critical operating system for its customer base driving high retention and strong recurring revenue visibility.
Backed by private equity, the business is entering a next phase of scale, with priorities spanning margin expansion, pricing optimisation, payments monetisation, and selective M&A. The incoming CFO will partner closely with the CEO and sponsor to professionalise finance, sharpen KPI, and support long-term value creation.
Three Key Responsibilities Finance Leadership & Scale Build and lead a best-in-class finance function across Accounting, FP&A, payment economics, and SaaS metrics to support a multi-product, high-volume transaction environment.
Board & Sponsor Partnership Own board reporting, forecasting, and investor communication. Act as a trusted partner to PE across performance tracking, capital allocation, and strategic planning.
Value Creation & Strategic Finance Drive EBITDA, automation, support add-on acquisitions and product expansion initiatives.
Three Key Experience Requirements Proven No.1 finance leadership experience (CFO or senior VP Finance) within a PE-backed SaaS or payments-enabled software platform ($25150M ARR range). Preference is knowledge of the FinTech space. Demonstrated success scaling recurring revenue, transaction-based models, with clear EBITDA impact. Strong board-level presence with hands-on experience across PE reporting, strategic finance, and growth execution.
