KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Finance Manage collections, update film ultimates and forecast revenue for past projects. Build and maintain financial models for distribution waterfalls, financing waterfalls, and project break-evens. Oversee project finance plans and FX hedging for current and future productions. Evaluate projects through financial modeling to assess potential outcomes and risk profiles. Manage loan closings, loan monitoring, and compliance with financing agreements Support greenlight analysis by providing financial insights and projections. Oversee the tax credit process for upcoming films, including calculation, jurisdictional analysis and compliance. Review cost reports, monitor budget-to-actuals, and track spending. Process invoices and collaborate closely with accounting on reconciliations. Perform market and industry analysis to support financing and strategic decisions.
Business Affairs Lead the delivery process across projects and ensure all contractual deliverables are met. Oversee all aspects of the Collection Account Management Agreement (CAMA), including agreement execution and ongoing account monitoring. Collaborate with external legal teams on project-specific matters. Assist in structuring financing agreements Support business development by identifying new opportunities and improving internal operations and workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS 46 years of experience in business affairs and/or finance within the entertainment industry. Bachelors degree in finance or related field. Advanced Excel modeling skills with the ability to build from scratch. Strong sense of urgency and comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strategic thinker who brings a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Passion for film and independent space; curiosity and a tech-forward mindset. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-management skills. Experience in independent film or entertainment finance is a plus.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Base Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus Benefits: 401(k) with matching, medical, dental, vision, and paid time off
