Lead Complex Planning Initiatives (30%) Drive sophisticated planning engagements requiring multi-disciplinary expertise Develop integrated strategies across estate, tax, business succession, philanthropy, and legacy planning Work closely with advisors and internal partners to ensure alignment and execution Deliver Advanced Tax & Estate Solutions (30%) Design and implement advanced techniques such as GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, FLPs, and charitable trusts Navigate federal and state tax implications for high-net-worth families Support liquidity, succession, and wealth transfer strategies for business owners and multi-generational households Create and Present Customized Plans (30%) Build personalized financial plans using eMoney and MoneyGuidePro Join client meetings as a technical expert, offering clear, actionable guidance Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness Mentor and Innovate (10%) Provide guidance to junior planners and contribute to team development Help refine firm-wide planning tools and processes Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging strategies for ultra-affluent clients
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field CFP required; advanced credentials (CPA, JD, LLM) strongly preferred At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, with a focus on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients Expertise in planning for clients with $10M-$50M+ net worth, including trust structures, family governance, and succession planning Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, tax law, charitable strategies, and investment considerations Excellent communication skills-able to simplify complex concepts for clients Proficiency with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, and CRM systems like Salesforce Ability to travel 20-25% for client meetings
