Senior Manager, Development
to join its Miami-based team. This leadership-oriented role is ideal for experienced development professionals as well as high-performing
MBA or masters graduates
ready to step into a strategic position with meaningful responsibility.
The Senior Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing the firms development pipeline, driving projects from early concept through completion.
Qualifications Bachelors degree required;
Masters degree or MBA preferred
(Real Estate, Finance) 48+ years of relevant experience in real estate development, affordable housing, capital markets, construction management, or related fields. Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
with demonstrated financial modeling expertise. Deep interest or experience in
affordable housing financing , LIHTC, and public/private development partnerships. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects. Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities Oversee major components of the development lifecycle, including site evaluation, financial feasibility, due diligence, entitlements, and construction coordination. Lead the creation and refinement of
complex financial models , capital structures, and sensitivity analyses for multifamily and affordable housing projects. Manage
public and private financing processes , including LIHTC applications, municipal funding requests, and lender/investor packages. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and public agencies to advance project design and approvals. Develop and manage project schedules, critical milestones, risk assessments, and budgets. Prepare and present investment memoranda, project updates, and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders. Provide strategic input on site selection, project programming, and overall portfolio growth. Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement across the development team.
