A premier boutique investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Vice President 1 to join its Technology Investment Banking team in New York. This group advises leading technology companies, from high-growth innovators to established market leaders, on strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring. The firm offers a collaborative culture, lean deal teams, and direct exposure to senior leadership and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of M&A, IPO, and strategic advisory mandates within the technology sector. Manage, develop, and mentor junior bankers, ensuring excellence in analysis, deliverables, and execution. Build and maintain client relationships with technology executives, investors, and strategic acquirers. Conduct detailed company and industry analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and strategic assessments. Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients to manage complex transaction processes from start to finish.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of investment banking experience with direct exposure to technology sector transactions. Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring. Demonstrated leadership, project management, and client-facing experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with C-suite executives and institutional investors. Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not mandatory.
