Job Description:
The client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Expert/Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and user-focused Salesforce and integration solutions for the DCDEE Early Education Integration System. This role bridges strategic business needs with robust technical architecture, ensuring solutions align with organizational digital strategy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and deliver end-to-end Salesforce and integration solutions.
Design and lead complex API-based integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, developers, and technical leads to translate requirements into cost-effective technical solutions.
Guide development teams on best practices, platform capabilities, and customization decisions.
Ensure data security, performance, backup, and recovery standards are met.
Lead design sessions, code reviews, release planning, and architectural workshops.
Support Agile teams through backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance criteria definition.
Oversee Salesforce environment setup, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes.
Create and maintain technical documentation, data models, and solution diagrams.
Identify and mitigate technical risks across the architecture.

Experience with requirements analysis and business process design.
Experience in architecting and developing complex solutions in Salesforce platform.
Extensive experience in Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, SOSL, SOQL, Salesforce Admin and advanced architectural patterns, unit testing and best test practices
Strong understanding and experience with all configuration aspects of Salesforce including development
Experience in guiding development team on appropriate use of platform technology
Experience with object-oriented design patterns and languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby.
Experience in data migration strategies and common extract, transform, load (ETL) tools
Experience in general mobile solutions and architecture and understanding of on-platform mobile solutions and considerations
Experience using Shield and Lightning
Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Experience in accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance
Rxperience with GITHUB/BitBucket version control solutions
Experience with Agile Methodologies
