The
Senior IT Business Analyst
will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to design solutions that align with overall business strategies. This role requires expertise in business process reengineering, technology application to business problems, and industry-standard process mapping. The analyst will prepare solution options, identify risks, and conduct financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build assessments. Additionally, the analyst will document user requirements, program functions, and development steps for system modifications. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs to formulate solutions aligned with organizational strategies. Lead business process reengineering initiatives and identify innovative technology applications to improve efficiency. Develop detailed documentation of user requirements, program functions, and development steps. Prepare solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses (e.g., cost/benefit, ROI). Create and maintain business process maps and reengineering documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate delivery of application enhancements. Assist in creating and maintaining processes and project documentation for modernization and enhancement initiatives.
Special Considerations: Work within a
SAFe Agile environment
on a major system modernization project and ongoing enhancements for existing applications. Provide oversight and support for documentation and delivery of application enhancements as part of the project systems team.
Minimum Qualifications: 8 years (Required):
Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs; formulating systems aligned with business strategies; business process reengineering; and applying technology to business problems. 3 years (Preferred):
Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably SAFe).
