Clade
About the Company
Clade is an AI native investment intelligence platform built around how allocators actually work. We integrate diligence, meetings, and decision making into a single insight first workflow and use AI to remove noise, not add to it. Our users are institutional LPs including family offices, endowments, foundations, and consultants who rely on Clade to evaluate investment opportunities across asset classes with more clarity and less friction. Clade was incubated inside Credit Suisse and is backed by leading family offices. We are headquartered in New York City and operate as a true product led team. We ship quickly, validate directly with allocators, and build tools that become part of an investors daily workflow. This is not a generic fintech role. If you have not underwritten funds, or if AI is something you treat as a side tool rather than core infrastructure, this role will not be a fit. This role is critical to ensuring Clades products reflect real investment judgment rather than theoretical workflows.
About the Role
This role is open across multiple seniority levels. Scope, ownership, and compensation will scale based on experience, ranging from senior individual contributor roles to more strategic, product-shaping responsibilities. The Investment Product Specialist sits at the intersection of product, investment judgment, and client workflows. This role exists to ensure Clades diligence and meeting products are grounded in real allocator behavior and built with an AI first mindset. You will directly shape product direction based on your experience as an investor or consultant, while working with clients to drive adoption and extract high-quality feedback. You are expected to use AI every day. If you are skeptical of AI but not fluent in it, this is not the role. Level and compensation will be calibrated based on experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will scale with seniority, with more experienced candidates owning larger product surfaces, deeper client relationships, and greater influence on product prioritization.
Product and Investment Work Partner directly with product and engineering to design and refine AI driven diligence features across asset classes. Apply real underwriting experience to how Clade structures, compares, and surfaces investment data. Translate allocator workflows into concrete product requirements, data models, and user flows. Actively test AI outputs against real investment judgment and stress test assumptions. Contribute domain expertise across strategy analysis, team evaluation, track record review, risk assessment, and operational considerations. Define and pressure test how Clade extracts and structures data from pitch decks, DDQs, tear sheets, investment memos, and related documents. Review prototypes and early releases and give direct, opinionated feedback rooted in actual investment work. Client Success and Feedback Loop Work directly with Clade clients to ensure the platform is embedded in live diligence, meeting, and reporting workflows. Act as a trusted product facing partner to allocator users. Own client adoption for assigned workflows or accounts, helping allocators use AI-driven features to increase speed, coverage, and consistency of diligence. Identify friction, gaps, and missed opportunities in real usage and feed them back into product prioritization. Capture concrete workflows and repeatable use cases rather than abstract feedback.
Qualifications (Required)
Direct experience underwriting investment funds, typically gained through roles in investment consulting, fund-of-funds, allocator research, family office investing, or endowment or foundation investing. Level and scope will scale with experience. Strong understanding of institutional diligence processes and decision frameworks. Demonstrated interest in technology and rapid adoption of new tools. Confidence using AI as part of daily work, not as an experiment. Ability to challenge AI outputs using sound investment judgment. Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and non technical stakeholders. Strong ownership mentality and comfort operating in an early stage environment.
