Finance & Securities Industry Trainee
(SIE, Series 7, Series 63 - Paid Study Program) Location:
Salt Lake City, UT 84116 (Onsite - 5 days per week, 40 hours per week) Pay-rate: $18-19/hr. during the study program (the pay would range between 54-58k once offered a permanent role after acquiring the required 3 licenses) Duration:

Job Description: This role is for someone who is a recent graduate or holds a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Business Administration. Someone looking to start their career in Financial Service. Selected candidates will be paid while studying to achieve their SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 over a period of 12 weeks. Training materials and licensing expenses will be paid at no cost to selected candidates. Passing the tests to receive the SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 licensing will be necessary to continue the training and have the ability to be hired on permanently.
Additional Details: The role will have a focus on connecting with clients and helping them transition to the more modern digital platform of handling their portfolios online with the advisors assistance, where the advisor will be able to help them to achieve their financial goals and answer questions they may have Books of business will be provided to the advisor. From conversations with the client, the advisor will review existing portfolio holdings with the client and educating them on different investment platforms, recommending portfolio changes, and over all trying to align investment objectives with client financial goals. Ongoing skill and knowledge development sessions will continue to be provided to gain a deeper understanding of the role, different investment products, and the financial industry as a whole. The advisor will be able to utilize your management team, site coaches, learning & development partners, and external product vendors to grow and develop professionally. After passing the tests is when successful candidates will be considered for internal positions
there will of course be an internal interview as well. Candidates need the capability to explain complex concepts in a digestible manner As to be expected, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for these positions. Successful candidates will also have a strong drive to succeed and a passion for helping people. Passing the tests to receive the Series 7 and Series 63 licensing will be necessary to continue the training and have the ability to be hired on permanently.
