What You’ll Do:
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience for every patient. Your responsibilities as a Dental Assistant include:

• Preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining dental equipment and instruments
• Collecting patient health histories, taking impressions and X-rays
• Ensuring patient comfort during procedures
• Preparing dental materials (cements, composites, impression materials, etc.)
• Assisting the doctor during treatments and emergencies
• Charting treatment information accurately
• Delivering post-op and oral care instructions
• Maintaining infection control and patient privacy
• Assisting with customer service and presenting treatment plans

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred
• Previous customer service or office experience
• Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Foster a positive attitude and be a team player
