Job Description: Automation QA Engineer
Location:
Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH (5 days Onsite/Remote every other week) Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm / 40 hrs per week Duration:
Long-term Contract (with ongoing support post-migration)
Day-to-Day / Project Summary As part of the modernization and migration project, you will develop and maintain automated test frameworks to validate new product features and migration clients on the new client platform. Responsibilities include creating test scripts, executing automated tests, collaborating with developers, and ensuring quality through continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Must Haves Strong programming skills in
Java
(or JavaScript) Experience with
Test Automation frameworks
(TestNG, Cucumber/BDD) Hands-on experience with
Spring Boot , MyBatis, JSON, and REST API testing Proficiency in
SQL
and relational databases Familiarity with tools like
RestAssured ,
Postman Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
and integration with Jenkins Understanding of Agile testing practices Nice to Have (Plusses) Exposure to
Cloud environments
(Azure preferred) Experience with internal automation frameworks Knowledge of performance testing tools Familiarity with migration or modernization projects Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend services and APIs Validate migration clients and new feature capabilities Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality standards Execute regression and functional tests in CI/CD pipelines Document test results and assist in defect triage and resolution
