Role Overview Systems Analyst professional who meets the general qualifications for Systems Analyst 2 in Applications/Software Development. The selected candidates will support the development, implementation, and expansion of the Microsoft 365 Power Platform environment. All work products are considered works made for hire and are the property of HHSC. This role operates with limited supervision and requires independent judgment, initiative, and technical depth across Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Level Description 4 to 7 years of experience in systems analysis or a related field Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures Ability to plan and execute tasks with limited oversight Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities Analyze business objectives, user requirements, and operational processes Identify alternative technical solutions and perform cost-benefit analyses Conduct system studies to improve or automate existing processes Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather input and output requirements Document detailed functional requirements, system specifications, and development steps Evaluate system capabilities, constraints, and feasibility of requested changes Design, develop, and support custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform Perform systems analyst and developer duties across Dataverse, PowerApps, Power Pages, Model-driven Apps, Power App Portals, and Business Process Flows Required Skills and Experience 5 years of experience with SaaS and/or PaaS environments 4 years of experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate solutions 4 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development 4 years of experience designing and developing Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps 4 years of experience using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as backend storage 4 years of experience developing Power Automate flows, including desktop and business process flows 4 years of experience working with Dataverse tables and data models 4 years of experience with Power Pages portals 4 years of experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center Preferred Qualifications 2 years of strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills 2 years of experience collaborating within cross-functional teams 2 years of experience in Agile development and sprint planning Ability to work independently and collaboratively 1 year of experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and PowerApps portals.
