Pay Range: $55/hour to $60/hour
Only accepting US Citizens and Green Card Holders
3 month contract with possible extension
Strong BA skills for a ServiceNow Implementation & experience w/functional delivery within a PMO
Hybrid 3 days a week onsite in Ventura, California (Zip code 93001)
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
ServiceNow PPM Business Analyst
to drive the successful configuration, deployment, and adoption of the ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module. This is primarily a
Business Analyst role , focused on gathering requirements, translating business needs into functional solutions, and driving adoption within a
PMO environment .
The role collaborates closely with IT technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to maximize the value of the ServiceNow platform for project, portfolio, and operational work management. While there is a ServiceNow technical resource handling module configurations, this BA will define functional requirements, guide processes, and ensure smooth adoption and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ServiceNow PPM Implementation & Functional Support Support ServiceNow PPM implementation by defining functional requirements for: Project & Operational Work Tracking Project Intake / Demand Management Resource Management (Demand/Supply Tracking) Portfolio and Financial Planning (as needed) Serve as a liaison between technical ServiceNow resources and business teams. Ensure end-to-end alignment between business needs and configuration.
2. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate workshops and interviews with PMs, Resource Managers, and end-users to gather detailed requirements. Document functional specifications, process flows, and use cases. Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure deliverables meet functional objectives.
3. Training, Adoption, and Change Management Develop and deliver training sessions, documentation, and Q&A for PMs, Resource Managers, and contributors. Drive user adoption by highlighting platform value, addressing pain points, and supporting ongoing use.
4. Reporting & Dashboard Optimization Build, optimize, and maintain reports and dashboards to provide PMO visibility into project health, resource utilization, and operational performance. Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency using ServiceNow features.
Required Experience 35 years as a
Business Analyst
supporting enterprise system implementations. 2+ years hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting
ServiceNow PPM / ITBM
modules. Strong understanding of
Project, Portfolio, Resource Management , and
ITSM concepts . Proven ability to bridge business stakeholders and technical ServiceNow resources.
Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow
CSA or CIS (PPM)
certification. Experience with other ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, etc.). PMP, PMI-ACP, or other project management certifications. Experience working in a
healthcare environment .
