Seeking a Performance Testing Analyst for a long term contract (minimum 12 months) onsite in Columbia, SC. Security Clearance required (no c2c candidates or sponsorship offered - US Citizen or Green Card Holders only).

What You Will Do In This Role: A typical day involves planning and executing test cases for applications within the CMS Cloud (built on AWS ). Testing will empower development and QA teams by simulating real-world usage, uncover performance issues, and ensure scalable, reliable applications in modern cloud environments. Manage test plans, track execution, and document results, while JIRA is used to log defects and align testing tasks with Agile sprints. Collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups, using Confluence to maintain test documentation, user stories, and release notes. The role also includes validating application behavior in cloud environments, supporting compliance testing, and ensuring that all updates meet CMS security and performance standards before deployment. In addition, they complete supportive administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing and collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and continuous improvement. Their work is essential to maintaining the quality, reliability, and compliance of cloud-based healthcare applications.

Required Work Experience: 6 years of development experience, including 4 years in performance testing and tuning.

Required Technologies: Cloud hosted application(s) testing experience. Design, Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and automate scripts using testing tools/platforms like Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner Cloud, Selenium webdriver, Selenium Grid, JUnit, TestNG, SoapUI, Postman and Insomnia. Solid understanding of key performance indicators, metrics and types of testing. Knowledge of performance monitoring tools. Identify, track, and manage bugs using TestRail, JIRA/Confluence, or ALM. Understanding of AWS CloudWatch Synthetics. Strong knowledge of lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or cloud migration testing. Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks. Implement automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline). AWS Services

Preferred Experience: Understanding DevOps practices and helps in managing cloud-based analytics pipelines and deployments. Experience with GitHub Actions, version control, automated testing, and deployment of workflows. AWS Services

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.
