As the newest Senior Financial Analyst on this growing FP&A team, you will be responsible for partnering with all aspects of the business and owning areas such as reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

This position is the main source of analysis for driving informed decision-making across the organization and will need to ensure accuracy in reporting and cross-departmental alignment.

With a collaborative office in Houston, this role will also be a fantastic opportunity to learn Pigment, a surging FP&A software in the ecosystem.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Play an integral role in the management of the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes. Including reporting financials and attributable drivers to the executive team, board of directors, and banking institutions. Own and innovate current reports/metrics to ensure accurate and timely distribution. Evaluating historical trends to draw insights into drivers of performance to aid the executive team. Support rollout and use of new financial software, Pigment. Collaborate with other members of the FP&A team to further automate processes and standardize data. Integrating historically manual processes into systems. Participate in all aspects of the budgeting process, including owning the model and driving insights through iterative discussions. Support the M&A team with necessary analysis when evaluating acquisition targets. Creating standardized financials and identifying potential opportunities/areas of concern. Assist departments across the organization with ad hoc analysis when applicable to help inform decisions.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, Corp Development, Investment Banking, or a similar role. Advanced Excel/PowerPoint capabilities. Working knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, and a Financial Systems Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally.
