Successful Ascendum Directors and Senior Directors tend to have 5-8 years of sales experience with an existing network. In this pivotal role, youll not only lead sales strategies but also shape the future of our offerings, working alongside forward-thinking teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that empower clients and fuel our growth.
What Youll Do: Developing and executing a sales strategy
that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. Driving sales growth
by developing strategic relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Collaborate with marketing teams
to create effective campaigns, analyze market trends, and provide guidance to junior sales staff to optimize performance and achieve sales targets. Enhancing market feedback
by incorporating insights from clients and influencers within the mortgage industry ecosystem. Partnership with clients
to ensure market feedback is integrated into products and strategies. Strategic leadership
in the mortgage segment, driving sales production, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategies to meet financial targets.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, up to $3+ million in revenue.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years experience in Business-to-Business sales Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to travel based on business and client needs (~25-50%), includes overnight travel.
Preferred Skills: Regulatory compliance experience with a solid understanding of relevant regulations. Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices and regulatory guidelines. Exposure to operations within underwriting and servicing.
