What Were Looking For As iAltAs first full-time Controller, we are looking for an experienced finance and accounting leader to partner with the CFO and our fractional Controller and Accountant to help build the accounting operations, internal controls and financial reporting processes at our central Holdings company to support growth, M&A activity and strategic decision making for Holdings and for all the companies within the ever-growing iAltA ecosystem.

In This Role, You Will Oversee daily accounting operations and manage the monthly close at Holdings and earlier stage companies in the iAltA ecosystem. Prepare accurate financial statements, dashboards, and Board/investor reports. Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for Holdings and to build playbooks and processes for the OpCos. Collaborate closely with all functions and finance teams within the OpCos to ensure financial alignment with iAltAs goals. Build accounting systems, internal controls, and financial policies. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance. Implement ongoing process improvements utilizing people, technology, and AI for efficiency. Manage external audit and tax relationships.

To Be Successful, You Will Have Growth company DNA, as described above. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. A track record of consistently delivering results in a high-growth/high-change organization, against quarterly and annual goals. Proven leadership and management skills in a dynamic, early-stage environment, including designing, and improving processes and controls. Bachelors degree with significant experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA preferred. Deep knowledge of US GAAP, consolidations, internal control frameworks and financial compliance; nice to have: public accounting experience. Prior multi-entity, international experience, experience with M&A and experience within financial services and/or fintech high growth organization is helpful.
