Job Title:
Security Engineer
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer with strong expertise in Active Directory, Identity Security, and advanced PowerShell automation to join our Cyber Identity Assurance team. This role supports large-scale enterprise environments, drives major strategic initiatives, and plays a critical part in enhancing identity security, monitoring, and domain operations. The position supports both daily operations and major infrastructure modernization projects, including organizational transformation efforts.
Note: On-call rotation occurs once every 10 months . Key Responsibilities Active Directory & Identity Assurance Manage and support enterprise-scale Active Directory domain services. Enhance identity security processes, governance controls, and compliance frameworks. Participate in domain controller modernization, rebuild cycles, and blue-green deployments. Ensure adherence to identity security best practices and risk mitigation standards. Scripting & Automation Develop and optimize PowerShell scripts for automation and CI/CD workflows. Support automated monthly Active Directory rebuilds and backend processes. Partner with engineering teams to expand automation coverage and operational efficiency. Monitoring & Observability Utilize Splunk for advanced searches, dashboards, and operational analytics. Work in a New Relic-driven observability environment for performance and infrastructure visibility. Identify gaps in monitoring and implement solutions to improve reliability and uptime. Operational Excellence Handle daily operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Follow DevOps best practices using Git for version control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic programs, including acquisition-related initiatives. Agile & Ticketing Workflows Work within Agile frameworks using two-week sprints, standups, and planning sessions. Document work and manage tasks using Jira and Confluence. Manage operational tickets and workflows using ServiceNow. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory domain services. Deep understanding of identity security and governance frameworks. Advanced PowerShell scripting and experience with CI/CD automation. Experience with Splunk (queries, dashboards, monitoring). Experience with New Relic or similar observability tools. Familiarity with Git, DevOps concepts, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between $95,690
$109,480 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
