Job Description: We are seeking a
Data Platform Architect
to design and implement a scalable, metadata-driven data platform using
Microsoft Fabric
and the
Azure ecosystem . This role focuses on
architecting the foundation
for data ingestion, storage, governance, and consumption across multiple domains, enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities: Define and implement the
end-to-end architecture
for a metadata-driven Lakehouse platform. Establish standards for
data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services. Design
multi-tenant, domain-specific data lakes
and an orchestration layer for cross-agent queries. Ensure
data governance, lineage, and security
across the platform. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices for scalability, performance, and cost optimization. Integrate
analytics and AI capabilities
(Power BI, Azure OpenAI) into the platform.
Required Qualifications: 10+ years
of experience in data architecture and platform design. Expertise in: Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Notebooks) Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Data Lake Storage Gen2 Data modeling, governance, and security frameworks Strong understanding of
metadata-driven architectures
and reusable components. Experience with structured and semi-structured data formats.
