Job Description We are seeking an experienced
Database Administrator (DBA)
to support and manage enterprise-grade database environments across
on-premise and AWS cloud platforms . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, high availability architectures, and cloud-managed database services. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain
MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
databases in both
on-premise and AWS environments Design and manage
replication and high-availability solutions
based on application requirements Administer and optimize
AWS managed database services , including
RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, DynamoDB , and supporting services such as
S3 and EC2 Automate database and infrastructure tasks using
Ansible
and
AWS CloudFormation Design and implement
monitoring and alerting solutions
using tools such as
CloudWatch, PMM, Datadog, and MonYog Perform
daily database maintenance , health checks, and
capacity planning
to ensure high reliability and performance Collaborate closely with
application development teams
to design efficient schemas, optimize complex queries, and improve database performance Partner with
DevSecOps teams
to apply security patches, upgrades, and compliance controls in a timely manner Develop and maintain
backup and disaster recovery strategies
to ensure minimal data loss and downtime Generate
ad-hoc reports
and provide insights to internal teams and stakeholders as needed Perform database-related scripting and automation using
Shell scripting or Python Provide strong
Linux system administration
