The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to maintaining accurate production and sales records, managing intercompany transactions, and supporting reporting and forecasting activities. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management Lead the creation, maintenance, and timely invoicing of new sales orders for product & service jobs, ensuring alignment with financial policies and operational objectives. Maintain and monitor backlog data for new service jobs and amendments, tracking progress and providing actionable insights to management. Initiate and manage production jobs while updating quarterly production costing, supporting both operational efficiency and accurate financial reporting. Prepare, post, and analyze labor, material, and overhead costs for technical service operations, including monthly, forecast, and budget reporting. Manage affiliate billback invoices and intercompany entries , ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with internal controls. Perform month-end close activities in SAP for SHD, including reconciliation, reporting, and variance analysis. Generate, maintain, and analyze manufacturing & service reports to monitor KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and operational performance. Support the rolling manufacturing forecast process, providing timely financial insights to optimize planning and resource allocation. Prepare inventory obsolescence and valuation reports, supporting inventory management and financial accuracy. Reclassify costs and process internal invoices to Customer Service as required, ensuring proper cost allocation and transparency. Maintain, configure, and support expense systems and corporate credit card accounts, including onboarding new hires and resolving employee inquiries. Assist with repair and maintenance reporting, SAP setup for the new fiscal year, and other financial administration tasks. Coordinate and communicate critical cutoff dates for financial processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and reporting standards. Analyze, reconcile, and interpret financial data, delivering actionable recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience 5 to 7 years' financial analysis and modeling experience Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP and Concur Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
