Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) Engineer - W2 Only Contract

Location: Ideally hybrid onsite in DURHAM North Carolina but the hiring manager is open to remote and they can sit anywhere on the

East Coact AND MUST be based in EST timezone . Also, must be open to potentially coming onsite quarterly if required for quarterly meetings.

**Top Skills** OIPA, Java and Oracle DB experience (simple SQL) Need to only know Java so they can fix issues (maintenance role) 4+ years of Expertise in developing policy administration systems using Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA), including configuration language, integration, AS Files, data intake, database architecture, and data extraction patterns; building OIPA extensions; and performing palette and application security implementations, screens (policy, roles segment, allocation, and valuation), and release management. Need to only know Java so they can fix issues (maintenance role) Expertise in implementing design patterns, using UML Test Driven Development, Junit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor IDEs Spring Tool Suite, and Eclipse, within a UNIX and Windows environment. Writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Oracle environment. Leadership: Team player, self-starter, collaborative, innovative, eager to learn every day. Understanding of docker, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure) will be a plus AWS Certification is a plus
