About the Role
We are seeking a
Network Architect
to join a leading healthcare organization in Brentwood, TN. This role combines
technical expertise with a consultative approach , requiring proven communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively. You will design and implement secure, scalable network architectures while serving as a trusted advisor to business and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Consult with stakeholders
to understand business needs and translate them into network solutions. Provide a
strategic, customer-focused approach
to network architecture and design. Design and implement LAN/WAN and SD-WAN solutions using Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms. Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure high availability and performance. Collaborate with security teams to mitigate active threats and maintain compliance. Create and maintain detailed network documentation and change scripts. Participate in strategic planning and project meetings to support organizational initiatives. Qualifications Associates degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent technical training. Active CCNA required. 5+ years in Information Systems (healthcare experience preferred). 3+ years hands-on networking with Cisco projects and SD-WAN experience. Strong background in LAN/WAN troubleshooting, routing protocols, IP schemes, and wireless networking. Familiarity with AAA, TACACS+, SNMP monitoring, and logging. Skills & Attributes Proven communication skills
with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and consultative mindset. Excellent documentation skills and proficiency with Visio and Office applications. Ability to balance
strategic initiatives
with operational problem-solving. Customer-focused mindset with a can-do attitude. Willingness to travel up to 10% for deployments.
