As a **Security Officer - Media Lobby Desk** in **Atlanta, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a dynamic tech/media/telecom location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing an exceptional customer service experience. - Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous first point of contact.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
- Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor and incident information as required.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all visitors and staff, providing customer service while upholding security-related standards.
- Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols as needed.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
