Bread and Butter General Surgery Locums Job in Missouri January Coverage Needed

One of our partnering facilities is seeking General Surgery locums coverage in January 2026. The locums will be doing bread and butter General Surgery 24-hour call at a Level 2 Trauma Center. The hospital needs 10-12 shifts per month.

Schedule and Call:
January coverage needed. Potential for ongoing shifts possible
10-12 shifts open per month - can be flexible based on candidate availability
24-hour call, 7am-7am

Scope of Work:
While on site: Consults and rounding on post surgery patients
During call: response to anything that comes in through ER
Bread and Butter General Surgery
Some trauma expected (Level 2 trauma center), mostly car accidents

Details/Requirements:
Missouri license or IMLC required
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 2 years required
Level 2 Trauma Center
One physician in department - works other 20 shifts per month
EMR: Meditech
Beds: 306
Reason for coverage: Physician departing for fellowship
