Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect Subject Matter Expert to design and implement complex technical solutions, leveraging expertise in systems design, cloud architecture, networking, and security. This role involves architecting solutions based on customer needs, leading technical teams in design and implementation, and ensuring the stability and availability of large enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across various technologies and cloud platforms, with a proven ability to automate deployments and troubleshoot complex issues. Job Duties: Perform complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation to support system development, engineering analysis, and research. Lead in the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system. Work directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a program's system and technical product development. Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of scientific principles and practices in broad areas across one or more technical disciplines. Maintain a liaison role for technical matters with staff and customers and act independently on technical issues within their field of expertise. Support the Authority to Operate (ATO) and accreditation processes. Utilize 10+ years of experience in programming and software development. Apply experience with systems design and cloud architecture. Demonstrate experience with cloud computing, networking, and security. Architect software solutions based on specific customer requirements. Design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platforms. Lead teams in technical design and implementation efforts. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix technical, functional, and performance issues. Engineer, configure, and administer specific technology products or technical solutions including Windows, Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Apply experience supporting large enterprise applications. Demonstrate experience automating the provisioning of application environments. Provide platforms for large enterprise applications used by tens of thousands of users while maintaining 24/7 availability. Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret (S) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying. Experience Requirements: 10+ years in programming and software development, with deep expertise in systems design, cloud architecture, networking, and security across platforms like Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Proven experience in architecting solutions, designing automated deployment pipelines, leading technical teams, and ensuring 24/7 availability of enterprise applications. Education Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline or equivalent. Desired Skills / Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Linux professional certifications preferred. Strong understanding of cloud services, networking, security (including IAM), scripting, automation (IaC), containerization, monitoring, disaster recovery, security compliance (NIST/FedRAMP), and cost optimization. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
