What You’ll Do: Relate Search has partnered with a global IT automation solutions provider in their search for a z/OS Developer. This role will contribute to building and improving software solutions on the z/OS platform, aligning with a broader product roadmap and vision. You'll be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing enterprise-grade automation platforms used by some of the world's leading organizations. Responsibilities: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment. Design and enhance complex software components and applications based on technical specifications. Develop and maintain supporting scripts and automation for builds, testing, and deployment. Create and maintain documentation including coding standards, deployment procedures, and version control guidelines. Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuous improvement, team knowledge sharing, and strategic release planning. Qualifications: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of C/C++ development experience on the z/OS platform. 7+ years of experience with z/OS Assembler. Experience with workload management, job monitoring, SMF record processing, and inter-process communication via XCF on z/OS. Strong knowledge of z/OS systems including JES2/3, RACF, SMP/E, and Unix System Services (USS).
