Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is actively seeking individuals to fill a key role within our team. The SNA shall lead moderately complex network projects or phases of a large project. She/he shall coordinate work activities for a small group of technical/professional employees, or manage a moderately large, complex function. The SNA shall provide technical guidance and leadership; determine deliverables and work schedules. She/he shall act as Offeror's representative to customer technical personnel while leading network requirements analysis activities, as well as Offeror's maintenance and/or upgrades to customer network operations. The SNA shall be responsible for ensuring established network deliverable deadlines and performance standards are met. SNA shall have demonstrated past performance of leading teams of personnel with Network Administrator skills. SNA shall have senior level engineering knowledge in design, documentation, and implementation of all Network Administrator skillsets. The SNA shall support the unit with other duties as assigned within the scope of work. This position is on-site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a CI clearance with a polygraph. Required Qualifications:
At a minimum, the Network Administrator, senior level, shall have demonstrated experience in: A relevant industry certification, such as COMPTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), etc. Experience with Arista and Netgear switches, Watchguard (specifically not cloud based), and Manage Engine, CLI experience. Experience leading teams of personnel with Network Administrator skills. Proficiency designing, building, and maintaining physical and virtual networking devices, encryption (experience with Taclanes preferred), Firewall devices and rules, and networking Layer 2 and 3 devices and configurations. Expertise researching, evaluating, testing, recommending, integrating, deploying, and installing network equipment and solutions to meet objectives and requirements, including new technologies. Ability to confer with and advise management, engineers, senior network administrators, and system administrators on the management, functional capabilities, and enhancement of supported networks. Demonstrated ability to develop, test, document, and implement changes to communications networks to ensure efficient operation, interoperability with supported and affiliated tools, systems, and networks, and maximized user experience. Development of automated methods to deploy switches and firewalls with consistent results using applicable technologies for various manufacturer products. Ability to manage, train, and develop skills of junior network administrators. Proven ability to proactively troubleshoot, resolve, and provide technical assistance related to networking issues in support of mission objectives and customer requirements. Experience conducting reverse engineering of networks, producing documentation, and explaining results and potential areas of improvement and optimization. Resolve interoperability problems to maintain connectivity throughout the network. Analyze traffic information and provide analyses to justify network optimization and reconfiguration. Provide technical assistance, training, and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation of communication networks. Evaluate and recommend products and services from vendors. Conduct reverse engineering of networks, provide documentation, and explain results. Education : Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 6 or more years of work experience in monitoring, managing, and administering IP networks in a production environment or, in lieu of education, ten years of experience. All experience must be at or above the position level described above if utilizing experience in lieu of education. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with: Implementation of network Quality of Service (QoS) policies. Use of SMB protocols to allow advancement of storage technologies. Configuring and validation of RDMA technologies. Expertise with Cloud and/or Hybrid Cloud networking integration and sustainment. Benefits
