As a Senior Narrative Writer, you will be a key contributor to our game's story, supporting the vision set by the Creative and Narrative Directors. The ideal candidate will have experience in TV, film, and game writing, with outstanding communication skills, a strong understanding of story and game structure, and the ability to work within established narrative canon and gameplay goals. Experience with cinematic writing and in-game dialogue across story and multiplayer modes is highly valued. Experience in feature films or television scripts is a plus. Bonus points if you have worked on military or action-adventure games or related entertainment products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing compelling interactive stories aligned with the company's vision. Championing a story vision that supports project goals through structure, character, and theme. Participating in the development and implementation of narrative assets, including scripting and debugging. Spec'ing and overseeing systems that support key story beats within the game. Assessing gameplay elements' impact on story development and proposing solutions. Writing for various media, including in-game copy, cinematic scripts, story bibles, pitch docs, and promotional materials. Promoting storytelling excellence through feedback and guidance. Identifying and mitigating project risks. Qualifications: 5+ years in game development. 3+ shipped titles with narrative design or writing credits. Bachelor's degree in a creative or communication field, or equivalent experience. Exceptional creative writing skills. Excellent verbal communication abilities. Compensation depends on experience, performance, and location. The role may include incentive pay, which is not guaranteed. Offers are negotiable.
