The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides healthcare with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care. The APRN works independently and collaboratively to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage, and evaluate patient care. Functions include education, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultation, and patient advocacy. Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions, performs related duties, demonstrates professional development and clinical competency, and possesses knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and medical care for patients of all ages. Serves in a clinical role to assist physicians in ensuring total patient care. Interacts directly with patients and families to maximize care quality. Required: Signed, Collaborative Agreement and valid DEA number if prescribing controlled substances. Qualifications
Three years of nursing experience Master's Degree National Nurse Practitioner Certification and Registered Nurse license Desired: Three years of oncology nursing experience. Additional Details
