About the Role
The Territory Ops Courier and Marketplace Specialist will be focused on the Midwest territory, doing fast-paced, agile work to drive reliability in the Midwest markets. You will create incentive strategies, monitor markets and help to maximize growth in this set of markets. You will partner closely with the commercial team including sellers, account managers and commercial leaders to help improve market reliability.
What You'll Do
Focus on courier operations and experience within a specific set of markets
Provide input on how local market nuances impacts processes or products
Identify, solve, or escalate customer or tech issues and opportunities
Track performance against OKRs across the territory
Plan and manage multi-city or state-wide courier and marketplace initiatives
Drive analysis on strategic decisions, including understanding key levers to improve results and clarifying tradeoffs
Develop tools and training to enable commercial teams to optimize their results
Build any city-specific processes or campaigns needed in addition to or instead of scaled ones
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other territories, central ops, and product ops to achieve goals
Basic Qualifications 2+ years of professional work experience in a related field
Strong Excel/Google Sheets
Bachelor degree required
Preferred Qualifications SQL proficiency
Strong experience building and executing complex processes
Ability to identify opportunities / problems and proactively deliver proposed solutions
Unparalleled business judgement and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions
Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to an audience
Strong collaboration and partner management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with territory and cross functional teams
Experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
Advanced analytical capabilities including familiarity with Python or R
High energy working style and optimistic attitude
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year - USD$106,250 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
