What You Will Be Doing As a Manufacturing Planner with our Make Planning team, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive production schedule for Chelmsford programs that align with customer requirements, production capacity, and resource availability. You will work closely with Production Operations, Engineering, Buy Planning, and Stockroom to ensure that deliveries meet program needs and coordinate inter‑departmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts, administration, etc. Your Responsibilities Perform Make planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions Execute multiple manufacturing activities across various functions, maintaining production system integrity to drive inventory optimization and minimize cost Expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements, coordinating with Supply Chain stakeholders and Operations Management to determine appropriate time‑phased plans and execute processes to ensure deliverables are met Support cross‑functional planning and management teams, providing daily status updates as required Analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential bottlenecks Develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity and innovation, ensuring solutions align with organization objectives Why Join Us We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Planner to join our team in Chelmsford, MA.
