Job Overview

The role is responsible for managing and supporting the Market Support Systems within the ITS/NU team and aligning the target of operational excellence together with the respective MBUSA business units. The Market Support Systems serve as a repository for dealer-related topics such as market support programs, discounts and incentives offered to our dealers to help sell vehicles, dealer performance bonus payments and provides mobile access for dealers. This role serves as the first point of contact for both Vans/Cars Business Units for initiatives, projects, and operational tasks to support Operational Excellence and the Future System Landscape within the Information Technology Division. The Principal, IT Market Support Application will also support the MB Financial Services division which maintains contract - related programs to the dealers.

Responsibilities

Market Support Systems • Lead and manage the applications via SAFe and Agile methodologies. • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to translate requirements into actionable IT tasks ensuring resource capacity, budget and scope are adhered to. • Facilitate / Conduct Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, PI Planning, System Demos, Artifacts, and workshops with support to the business units and IT Managed Services Team. • Ensure seamless integration and transition from legacy systems to ITS/NU Future System Landscape. • Monitor on-going Incident progress and maintain a high level of transparency to the business units. • Drive continuous improvement and maintain alignment with Agile best practices. • Central point of contact to manage escalated IT and System issues, concerns, and clarifications for MBFS, Passenger Cars and Vans Business Partners. • Discuss, align, and provide input on all projects with both IT and the Business to provide insight and transparency into the progress and any impacts that the projects may be experiencing. • Maximize the benefits of technology and data driven solutions, in the furtherance of the corporate business goals; focused on collaboration within the Vans and Passenger Car solutions. • Ensure that all solutions meet security and compliance standards by working closely with the IT security Champion and Security team and adhere to all regulatory requirements. • Guide and motivate the MSP and Business teams through ‘Project2Product’ transformation mindset and working methodologies. • Create and sustain a team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, innovation, excellence, and collaboration with specific ITS/NU Strategic Targets.

Qualifications Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis on Business Management; Computer/Information Science; Information Technology; Project Management, Finance or Automotive.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in the Information Technology field with focus on business applications and processes • General business knowledge of fundamental practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of the organization. • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, efficiency, and process methods. • Knowledge of processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques to achieve maximum efficiency. • High analytic and independent thinker with the ability to make decisions that are strategic and forward thinking. Demonstrate strong negotiation skills. • Ability to assess the criticality of a problem and initiate corrective action in a timely manner. • Experience in Project Management and Agile Methodologies • Exceptionally excellent communication and collaboration skills; and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to tailor communication content to the needs of the audience. Excellent relationship building/partnering skills. • Independent working attitude; well-organized with attention to detail • Have a relentless will to improve and be initiative-taking. • Able to lead, moderate and motivate colleagues.
