Trillium Construction is now seeking a Low Voltage Technician/Project Manager in Kermit, TX (Traveler Welcome

Lodging + Per Diem Provided)! Annual salary is $70,000$120,000 DOE. Schedule: MondayFriday, with occasional Saturdays and on-call service (nights/Sundays). We are seeking a hands-on Low Voltage Technician with strong Project Management skills to join our team in Kermit, TX. This position involves managing and executing low voltage installations, coordinating field crews, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification. Ideal candidates will combine technical expertise with leadership, planning, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage low voltage installation projects from start to finish Perform and supervise fiber optic terminations and testing (OTDR, power meters) Install and maintain Cat6, structured cabling, and low voltage wiring systems Troubleshoot and service camera systems and access control systems Handle job scoping, material takeoffs, equipment ordering, and quoting Maintain as-built documentation and accurate service records Ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams Provide excellent customer service while responding to service issues and trouble calls Apply now to join a growing team that values expertise, professionalism, and hands-on leadership in the field. Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in low voltage, structured cabling, or security systems Experience leading field crews and managing small to mid-size projects Working knowledge of BICSI standards and best practices Strong troubleshooting, planning, and job documentation skills Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents Proficiency with job scoping, quoting, and procurement Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as FOA, ETA, BICSI, or PMP Experience with access control, surveillance, and fiber systems Previous experience in a field leadership or foreman role Trillium Construction Services has been recruiting and hiring construction and skilled trades talent for over 30 years.
