Prepare and present land use and environmental permit applications to local, state, and federal administrative agencies. Collaborate with teams of professional consultants to ensure smooth project execution. Handle administrative appeals and real estate-related litigation, primarily in Connecticut courts. Assist in appellate court processes, including brief writing and presenting arguments. Develop and implement creative marketing initiatives to expand the practice. Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in land use and environmental law. Admission to the Connecticut Bar and federal and state courts. Experience working with local, state, and federal agencies in land use and environmental matters. Experience with administrative appeals and real estate-related litigation. Strong background in appellate court processes and brief writing. Associates, counsel, and partner-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications
Active membership in the Connecticut Bar (required). Admission to federal and state courts (required). Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills. Effective presentation and negotiation abilities. Collaborative, team-oriented approach. Ability to manage complex cases and multiple stakeholders.
