Full Stack Development Leader
Grocery Retail Merchant Systems
We are seeking a Full Stack Development Leader to spearhead the development of custom-built merchant systems tailored for the grocery retail industry. This role requires a deep understanding of assortment and procurement processes to ensure seamless integration with retail operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Angular for front-end development and Java/Haskell for back-end architecture. Architect and implement scalable, high-performance solutions using Angular, Java, and Haskell. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards. Optimize assortment and procurement workflows through innovative software solutions. Mentor and guide a team of full-stack developers, fostering a culture of excellence. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and system enhancements. Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in full-stack development within a product organization. Leadership experience required. Strong proficiency in Angular for front-end development. Expertise in Java and Haskell for back-end architecture. Deep understanding of grocery retail operations, particularly assortment and procurement. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions. Familiarity with database management, SQL, and NoSQL technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Knowledge of machine learning applications in retail optimization.
