Okta seeks an Event Digital Strategy and Technology Senior Manager to innovate at the intersection of event technology and digital transformation.
This role's success will be measured by your ability to craft and execute a comprehensive digital and onsite attendee experience through all technological touchpoints, exceeding stakeholder expectations:
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement the strategic vision for end-to-end attendee experiences, integrating digital and onsite technologies
Leverage data insights to identify opportunities and develop a data-driven optimization roadmap in collaboration with the Digital Analytics team
Manage, deploy, and improve event technology solutions for a portfolio of strategic events and webinars
Define requirements to configure technology for registration, housing, meeting tools, mobile apps, digital broadcasts, and webinars in partnership with internal teams
Collaborate with onsite tech teams to ensure seamless onsite event technology delivery
Establish quality assessment processes and monitor risks, addressing issues proactively pre-event and onsite
Partner with agencies and vendors to ensure technology readiness and security, privacy, and legal compliance
Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as needed
Basic Qualifications:
Over 5 years of successful experience in a similar role
Experience with event tech platforms like RainFocus, EventBase, CVENT, Swoogo, IBM, Vidyard, On24, Goldcast, etc.
Proven ability to manage event registration, housing, mobile apps, and live/digital event technologies
Experience leading online and live broadcast events independently
Knowledge of digital strategies for webinar programs
Ability to develop digital opportunity assessments and strategies that enhance engagement, conversions, and pipeline
Strong cross-functional collaboration and vendor management skills
Excellent process management and communication skills
Curiosity and a drive to innovate
#LI-hybrid Salary range for California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: $146,000—$220,000 USD, plus benefits and incentives. Details at https://rewards.okta.com/us.
