Salary Range $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly
Description
Position working banquets. Hours and days vary due to events, primarily need Thursday through Sunday
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Set banquet rooms and halls as per instructions of the event manager •Prepare rooms in terms of adjusting lights and setting appropriate temperature •Ensure all decorations have been set or removed in accordance to instructions •Make sure that tables are set with linen, dishware, and flatware •Set banquet serving areas as instructed •Fill glasses with water before guests arrive and refill as needed during the event •Greet guests in a cordial manner as they arrive •Offer welcome drinks and ask guests if they need any additional items •Carry food trays to the tables •Ensure that food is replenished in a quick manner •Deliver beverages as per guests' instructions •Anticipate and fulfil guests' needs continually •Clear dishes and flatware once the event has ended •Clean premises along with stripping tablecloths and napkins
Qualifications
Safety Responsibilities and Requirements: •Actively demonstrate, encourage, and model safety rules and guidelines in accordance with company, state, and federal law requirements. •Report safety or hazard concerns to management. •Report any work-related injury to management. •Take personal responsibility for safety every day.
Qualification-Requirements Experience - Education •Previous food & beverage experience preferred. •Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. •Must have positive attitude and be able to meet public in a friendly, courteous manner. •Ability to stand throughout duration of shift and lift minimum of 30 lbs. •Understanding of internal controls. •Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
