Work with advanced genomics workflows to deliver high-quality next-generation sequencing data with rapid turnaround times in a clinical laboratory. Perform routine quality control, laboratory maintenance, and proficiency testing per SOPs, including: Supporting QC team in reagent and instrument qualification. Decontaminating equipment and work surfaces. Maintaining NGS instrumentation daily. Participating in proficiency testing to ensure accuracy. Understand and execute NGS SOPs for clinical workflows. Achieve proficiency in NGS workflows, assist in training peers, troubleshoot, and optimize processes. Perform diagnostic oncology testing using complex molecular procedures, including: DNA/RNA quantification, library prep, hybridization, and sequencing on Illumina NovaSeq platforms. Data entry into LIMS. Maintain competency and meet annual continuing education requirements in oncology or molecular biology. Qualifications
Educational requirements: MS or BS in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related fields, with specific coursework in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology. Experience: At least 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a CAP/CLIA high-complexity lab, with at least 1 year in NGS workflows and molecular biology techniques. Skills: Excellent communication, detail-oriented, self-driven, team player, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience with Illumina NovaSeq 6000, oncology/genomics labs, robotics, and LIMS systems. Shift Details
Wednesday–Saturday, PM (2p-12:30a) Sunday-Wednesday, PM (2p-12:30a) Wednesday–Saturday, AM (7a-5:30p) Salary:
