We are seeking a Senior Transmission/Renewable Energy Seller-Doer/Project Manager to support the growth of our energy business in the northeastern U.S., focusing on transmission and renewable energy siting and permitting. This role requires maintaining industry contacts and leveraging our resources for development, strategic planning, and growth of Tetra Tech’s energy initiatives in the region and beyond. Candidates should have a strong technical background in siting, permitting, and environmental impact evaluation of transmission and renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, and electric transmission. Develop new client accounts and expand existing ones. Prepare proposals and lead permitting processes at various governmental levels. Coordinate agencies, lead technical teams, and manage contractors. Support complex project permitting in a dynamic environment. Apply critical thinking and flexible problem-solving skills. Demonstrate strong writing, computer, and independent working skills. Adhere to internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain high standards of safety and quality. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; a graduate degree in environmental sciences, planning, policy, or related fields preferred. 10+ years of experience in account management, business development, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance in the U.S. Existing client relationships and a proven record of winning work in transmission and renewable energy markets. Strong knowledge of state siting and permitting processes in various states. Excellent communication skills, team orientation, attention to detail, and research capabilities. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Additional Information
