We are seeking an Associate to join our team supporting a growing platform that invests in Apollo’s climate and sustainability equity segment. The successful candidate will work on key initiatives and foster strategic relationships at Apollo. This team collaborates closely with deal teams, investor relations, legal, tax, compliance, and external vendors. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced investment management environment with significant learning and growth potential. Primary Responsibilities

Manage the quarterly close process, including preparation of trial balances, allocations, expense accruals, management fees, and unrealized waterfalls. Prepare quarterly and year-end financial statements and ensure timely completion of fund audits. Calculate quarterly/semi-annual management fees. Perform daily cash management, including cash reconciliation, credit facility maintenance, deal closings, and expense wires. Review valuation memos and coordinate with deal and valuation teams to ensure accuracy. Prepare and reconcile capital calls from investors. Prepare fund realized waterfall and distribution notices to investors. Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with tax preparers for K1 distributions. Manage investor inquiries, reporting, and ad-hoc requests. Coordinate with marketing and investor servicing teams on quarterly reporting and requests. Contribute to internal reviews and reporting for senior leaders. Execute special projects and ad-hoc requests from leadership. Coordinate climate-focused reporting with investment, ESG, and finance teams. Qualifications & Experience

CPA preferred; 2-5 years of public/private accounting experience, Big 4 preferred. Strong U.S. GAAP technical expertise. Experience with alternative investment funds preferred. Critical thinker with strong analytical skills, clear communicator both orally and in writing. Collaborative yet independent worker, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast environment. Proactive, organized, with strong attention to detail and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Technology-savvy with a focus on automation; experience with Investran is a plus. $110,000 - $130,000, plus discretionary annual bonus based on performance. Final offers depend on experience, expertise, and location.
