Hill International is seeking a Construction Quality Manager to join our team for a large-industrial facility at Sparrows Point in Baltimore, Maryland. The project is expected to last 30+ months.
Monitor and report on daily construction activities and quality performance, and complete a daily inspection report
Implement the PMC Quality Management program, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards
Coordinate third-party testing and inspections, review resulting reports and testing results
Document and communicate quality issues to project stakeholders
Maintain non-conforming work log and track resolution
Track progress against project milestones
Review Pay Application pencil copies to verify billed work completion
Serve as liaison between the CMAR team and PMC management
Monitor compliance with contract requirements
Verify implementation of corrective actions
Support environmental compliance efforts
Assist with coordination of permit inspections
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent construction experience)
10+ years of experience in construction quality management or inspection
Understanding of construction documentation, quality control processes, and inspection procedures
Familiarity with building codes and industry standards
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with standard office software and construction management tools
Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects is a plus
Experience with environmental compliance a plus
Construction quality certifications beneficial (CQM, ICC, etc.)
The salary range for this position is $145,000-$156,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
