This is a 6 month contract with opportunity to extend. It is a financial services consulting opportunity in Midtown New York City. Our client is a New York City branch of a major financial institution, offering a range of banking and financial services, catering primarily to corporate clients and international businesses. The Transaction Monitoring/Correspondent Banking Consultant will be responsible for the following: Perform due diligence on alerts generated from Transaction Monitoring Systems (Mantas), timely identify risks, and escalate potential unusual activity for further investigation and potential action (filling of SAR). Maintain all supporting documents to substantiate ultimate conclusion/decision. Bachelor's degree
required. 1-3 years of experience
in transaction monitoring (preferably with correspondent banking/intermediary wires), alert review, case investigation, and knowledge of
BSA/AML
regulations (Red Flags/Typologies). Mantas experience
preferred. CAMS
