The Link org is responsible for the Link consumer and merchant experience. Our goal is to create the most effective checkout experiences on the internet, delivering delight to consumers and revenue to merchants at the same time. For consumers, the journey begins at the point of purchase where Link makes it fast and easy for them to complete the purchase with their payment method of choice while also providing peace of mind and transparency on their purchase. For merchants, Link is a conversion driver while also enabling merchants to reduce their payments costs.
What you’ll do
We are looking for an ambitious, impact-oriented product manager, who is passionate about scaling one of the fastest growing consumer financial networks. You will define and drive the strategy to create differentiated payment experiences for our merchants and consumers – giving consumers the freedom to pay with their desired payment methods across millions of merchants and merchants the benefit of increased revenue and lower costs without needing to contemplate the complexity of various payment methods. This work is highly cross-functional working across Engineering, Design, GTM, Partnerships, and others to define, build and scale new products. If you're passionate about understanding user needs and creating impactful solutions, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities

Analyze feedback and market trends to inform product development. Define Link’s local payment method strategy and ensure the development of unique experiences for both merchants and consumers. Act as the voice of users within Link and represent user needs and insights at a broader level within Stripe. Partner closely with customers, product teams, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to cultivate a comprehensive, frictionless experience for Link consumers across diverse payment methods. Help establish an ambitious roadmap for product development and the growth of Link’s capabilities. Set the pace for prioritization and execution for the product team, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals. Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization, including Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations to drive product initiatives
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems. Takes an ownership mindset and works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight consumers. Can put themselves in the shoes of consumers and be a steward of crafting great experiences. Can dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results. Has the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on consumer financial products. Experience working on local payment methods. Experience conducting product market research and building buy-in for product ideas from internal stakeholders and leadership. Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment. Experience working with GTM teams to bring a new product to market. Experience working on world-class consumer and merchant products at scale Has a high-level of taste, judgment and design empathy. Is able to use data and insights rigorously to analyze the performance of products.
Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.
Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $178,600 - $268,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
