As a Principal System Quality Engineer, you will ensure our products meet the highest quality standards by investigating and resolving issues. You will review Statements of Work, design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and functions of our products. Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal teams in resolving quality issues. Assist in improving manufacturing processes and product efficiency to reduce nonconformances. Ensure products meet organizational and customer quality requirements. Support product development and operations through analysis and expertise during inspections. Lead cross-functional teams to determine root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions. Analyze data to identify trends in product quality and defects to prevent recurrence. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in quality standards and principles across technical disciplines. Assess customer needs and evaluate solutions for complex problems. Lead and mentor quality teams, providing technical oversight. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities
Experience working in cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 standards. Expertise in process integration. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management and ability to prioritize. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline. 7-10 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field. Additional Requirements
